For the purposes of these Terms, “Ceylon Viajeros”, “Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka. “You”, “traveller”, “guest” and “customer” refer to the individual making a booking and, where applicable, the persons travelling under that booking.

Our services may include customized itineraries, guided tours, excursions, transportation arrangements, accommodation arrangements, cultural experiences, nature and wildlife experiences and other travel-related services made available through our website or directly through our team.
Specific inclusions and exclusions will depend on the individual tour, itinerary, quotation or booking confirmation provided to you.
2. Use of Our Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or prevent another person from using the website.
You must not:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activities.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, server or related systems.
- Introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful technology.
- Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without authorization.
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through our booking or enquiry facilities.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. Travel Enquiries and Quotations
Information submitted through the website, email, telephone, messaging applications or other communication channels may be used to prepare a travel proposal or quotation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a quotation does not constitute a confirmed booking.
Prices, accommodation, transport, attractions, guides and other services remain subject to availability until the booking has been confirmed in accordance with the payment and confirmation requirements communicated to you.
Any quotation may have a validity period. Where a quotation expires, prices and availability may need to be reconfirmed.
4. Booking Confirmation
A booking becomes confirmed only after Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka has:
- Accepted your booking request;
- Received any required deposit or payment; and
- Issued written confirmation of your booking.
You are responsible for reviewing your booking confirmation and notifying us promptly if any information is incorrect.
The person making a booking on behalf of a group confirms that they have authority to accept these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all travellers included in the booking.
5. Prices and Payments
Tour prices and payment requirements will be communicated through the relevant tour page, quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.
Prices may vary depending on factors including accommodation category, transportation requirements, number of travellers, travel dates, seasonal pricing, entrance fees, taxes, exchange rates and third-party supplier charges.
Unless specifically stated as included, personal expenses and services outside the confirmed itinerary are your responsibility.
Payments must be made using the payment method and within the time period specified by Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka.
Failure to make payment by the required deadline may result in the cancellation of your reservation or the release of services that were being held for you.
6. Cancellations by the Customer
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka in writing.
Any cancellation charges, refund eligibility or non-refundable amounts will depend on:
- The terms communicated in your booking confirmation;
- The date on which cancellation is received;
- Payments already made to hotels, transport providers, guides and other suppliers;
- Non-refundable reservations or entrance tickets;
- Administrative or transaction costs; and
- The cancellation policies of third-party suppliers involved in your itinerary.
Where a specific cancellation policy has been provided with your quotation or booking confirmation, that policy will apply to the relevant booking.
We recommend reviewing all cancellation conditions carefully before making payment.
7. Changes Requested by the Customer
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests to modify travel dates, accommodation, activities, transportation or other elements of a confirmed itinerary.
However, requested changes remain subject to availability and may result in additional costs.
Any fees, price differences or supplier charges resulting from a customer-requested modification will normally be payable by the customer before the amended arrangements are confirmed.
8. Changes or Cancellations by Ceylon Viajeros
Travel arrangements may occasionally need to be changed because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include adverse weather, road conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, safety concerns, closure of attractions or national parks, transportation disruptions, supplier cancellations, political events or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where reasonably possible, we will attempt to provide a suitable alternative of a comparable nature.
We reserve the right to modify itineraries where we consider the change necessary for operational, safety or logistical reasons.
Any refund, credit or alternative arrangement will depend on the circumstances and on amounts recoverable from the relevant third-party suppliers.
9. Force Majeure
Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing a service where that failure or delay results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, without limitation:
- Natural disasters;
- Floods, landslides or severe weather;
- Epidemics or pandemics;
- War, civil unrest or terrorism;
- Government actions or restrictions;
- Strikes or industrial disputes;
- Airport, airline or transportation disruptions;
- Road closures;
- Power or communications failures;
- Closure of tourist attractions or protected areas; or
- Other extraordinary events beyond our reasonable control.
Where possible, we will assist travellers in identifying practical alternative arrangements.
10. Passports, Visas and Travel Documents
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid passports, visas, permits, entry approvals and any other documents required for travel to and within Sri Lanka.
Entry, visa and immigration requirements may change.
Any general information provided by Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka regarding passports, visas or entry requirements is provided for convenience only. Travellers should verify current requirements with the relevant government, embassy, consulate or immigration authority before travelling.
Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka cannot be held responsible where a traveller is refused entry, boarding or participation in a service because of incomplete, invalid or missing documentation.
11. Health and Medical Requirements
You are responsible for determining whether you are medically and physically capable of participating in the activities included in your itinerary.
You should inform us in advance of any medical condition, disability, allergy, dietary requirement, mobility restriction or other circumstance that may materially affect your participation in a tour or activity.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate relevant requirements where possible but cannot guarantee that every destination, accommodation provider, attraction or activity will be able to meet all individual accessibility or medical needs.
Travellers should seek appropriate medical advice regarding vaccinations, medications and health precautions before travelling.
12. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance before commencing your trip.
Appropriate insurance may include coverage for:
- Trip cancellation or interruption;
- Medical treatment and emergencies;
- Emergency evacuation;
- Lost, stolen or damaged luggage;
- Personal liability;
- Travel delays;
- Adventure or specialist activities where applicable; and
- Other unexpected travel-related expenses.
It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure that the selected insurance policy provides appropriate coverage for the itinerary and activities being undertaken.
13. Third-Party Service Providers
Certain components of your travel arrangements may be supplied by independent third parties, including hotels, transport operators, airlines, guides, restaurants, activity providers, national parks, attractions and other tourism businesses.
These third parties may operate under their own terms and conditions, cancellation policies and safety procedures.
Although we take reasonable care when selecting and coordinating service providers, their services may be subject to circumstances and operational decisions outside the direct control of Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
14. Wildlife, Nature and Outdoor Experiences
Sri Lanka offers a wide range of wildlife, nature and outdoor experiences. Wildlife sightings and natural conditions cannot be guaranteed.
The availability and quality of such experiences may depend on weather, animal behaviour, conservation requirements, park regulations, seasonal conditions and other natural factors.
Travellers must follow the instructions of guides, park authorities and relevant safety personnel while participating in these activities.
15. Traveller Conduct
Travellers are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward local communities, guides, staff, other travellers, wildlife, cultural sites and the natural environment.
You must comply with applicable Sri Lankan laws and the reasonable instructions of tour guides, accommodation providers, transport operators and other authorized personnel.
Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka reserves the right to discontinue services to any traveller whose conduct creates a significant safety risk, causes serious disruption, damages property or involves unlawful behaviour.
Any additional expenses arising from such circumstances will normally be the responsibility of the traveller concerned.
16. Personal Belongings
Travellers are responsible for their personal belongings, including passports, money, electronic devices, luggage, jewellery and other valuables.
Reasonable care should be taken to secure valuables during transportation, accommodation stays and activities.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
17. Photography and Media
During tours or travel experiences, photographs or videos may occasionally be taken for operational, promotional or marketing purposes.
Where identifiable images of customers are intended for promotional use, we will seek appropriate permission where required.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or promotional material, please inform our team.

Ceylon Viajeros Sri Lanka will exercise reasonable care in arranging and providing the services under our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses resulting from events outside our reasonable control or from the independent acts or omissions of third-party service providers.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
